Since this Relation has been received, we hear that the Flames have begun to issue at the same Apertures with the Smoak; whereupon his Sardinian Majesty has sent the ablest Professors in his University to examine into this Phenomenon.

The Rock in the Mountain of Plainejou, near the Parish of Pay, sunk down suddenly, causing earth to tumble and damage habitations. The mountain covered with ashes and cinders, two columns of thick smoke issued, sulphureous scent detected. Rock continued sinking with rumbling noise and colored smoke. Potential danger to Parishes of Pasy and Cervos and Road of Chamonix. Later, flames began to issue, and professors sent to examine.
