Full Text
The new parish of Trinity Episcopal Church held their first service in Odd Fellows' Hall at seven in the morning (communion service). At half-past ten sermon by the Rev. Dr. Waterman, of Providence, and at half-past seven in the evening. The attendance was good during the day, and in the evening the hall was crowded. The boy choir was led by H. C. Sayles, Mr. Wm. Trotter, of Providence, presiding at the organ. We trust that this young parish, composed of young persons of perseverance and pluck, will be sustained, and continue to grow in influence and numbers.
Next Sabbath (Trinity) there will be four services held, at seven, nine and half past ten a. m., and at half-past seven in the evening. At the seven and half-past ten morning services the holy communion will be administered.
