White Sox Lead
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
The Chicago White Sox today appeared to be winning the race to get an entire squad under contract before the start of spring training.
The club owners and players have been seeing eye to eye since the contracts were mailed out during the past three weeks, and the Pale Hose need only one more player to have their entire complement of 40 in the fold.
Two of the last three - third baseman Stan Jok and outfielder Ed White - signed yesterday, leaving only Minnie Minoso unsigned.
