Flat Coulee Show Acidized

The Hardrock Oil company and A. B. Cobb this week were testing Northern Petroleum company's No. 2 Northern Farms, on the Flat Coulee structure in the Sweetgrass Hills, after acidizing with 1,000 gallons an oil showing found in a Madison lime break at 3132.

The two are completing the well under an agreement with Northern Petroleum company under which that concern turned them a block of leases in exchange for the completion.

Northern Petroleum company in 1935 drilled the well to 3020 feet, after getting oil in the Sunburst sand at from 2803 to 2879. It retains title to the well and the 80 acres on which it is situated. Location of the well is C NE SE 10-37N-5E.
