The Semillante frigate weighed anchor and proceeded to Lynn-haven bay, where she came to in a heavy fog within half a mile of the British frigate Andromache; but on finding she was so contiguous to a "fraternal embrace," she immediately returned to her old station. A vessel from L'Orient arrived yesterday, bringing officers of the Semillante many letters, some rumored to disapprove of her staying during yellow fever season. With two English frigates present, she has opportunity to show her skill.
