ACCIDENT TO MR. BATEY.
Former Sunset Lineman Broke a Small Bone in Right Hand
Tom Batey, local lineman of the Sunset, has resigned to accept a similar position with the Texas & New Orleans at Houston.
Mr. Batey with his wife left for that city this morning, and they will make that place their future home.
Mr. Batey was unfortunate last Saturday, inasmuch as he broke a small bone in his right hand, and this may in a way prevent him from assuming his new duties at Houston for several days to come.
