More Bloodshed.—It becomes our painful task to record another bloody act which has thrown the community into much excitement. On last Friday evening, a citizen of this place, riding out, discovered the lifeless body of J. M. F. Black, near the road side, about half a mile from town. Upon examination before a coroner's inquest, which was forthwith summoned, it was found that a mortal wound, by shot from a gun had pierced the lungs of the murdered man—and that the fire of the gun was J. B. Conger, a planter living a few miles above this. Two other men, are also implicated. A dispute had existed between Conger and Black, in relation to some land. Conger and Tillet have been admitted to bail, the former in sum of twenty thousand dollars and the latter in a sum of one thousand.—Grand Gulf Advertiser.
