Bought Cotton Plantation.

Fred Martin has purchased a cotton plantation in Mississippi, from which state he returned a few days ago. He is now busy getting ready to remove to the south in about a month. His new property contains the usual negro population, with a little plantation village of about 20 shanties, and Mr. Martin will be "Massah" Martin down there. Already he has acquired some of the rich southern brogue, says "you all" and "yessah," and is understood to have made a hit with the pickaninnies. His friends in Fulton county unite in wishing him unlimited prosperity in his new home "under southern skies."
