Pastor - the Rev. Martin Luther King, moderator of the Atlanta Baptist Association, and last a special sermon Sunday delivered by the Rev. T. of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Pittsburgh, Pa., one of the outstanding leaders in the Baptist Rev. Mr. King, a high ranking in devotion and militant in the Baptist cause as well as a forceful speaker the National Baptist Convention, a pulpiteer of high ability. By Mr. King the pastor stated indications point toward well-attended church services during the marking the last Sunday service in this year.
Pastor King will fill his pulpit Sunday night to deliver his final message for the last Sunday in the year. Highly jubilant over the success made by the congregation during the year, the pastor stated that he looks forward to still greater success in the New Year. Much improvement was done in and out of the fashionable edifice. Hundreds of members added to the church and spiritual and financial success were listed among the chief achievements wrought at the worship center.
Adding color to the Sunday services will be the singing to be rendered by Choir No. 2 under the direction of Mrs. Alberta King, co-leader of the musical department in the church.
