The barque Gorland, in 34 days from Pernambuco, brings intelligence that General Meura, from Lisbon, with 500 troops had arrived at Pernambuco, and when allowed to land, the citizens became dissatisfied with them, and petitioned the Junta to send them away, which they had agreed to do, Gen. M. had issued a proclamation refusing to send the troops away unless the Junta would give him the command of the same number of troops of the country, which was refused. The General had however concluded to embark the troops as soon as vessels were provided. Business was dull at Pernambuco--every thing was in a very unsettled state.
