A Frankfort (Germany) journal mentions that while Gen. Lamoriciere was in that city, on his way from Hamburg, he invited several French officers to dine with at the Hotel of Russia. It came to the ears of the French minister, who lodged an information against the hotel keeper, on the ground that he had not notified the authorities of the General's arrival. He was arrested, but subsequently discharged, because the law did not require him to notify them of those who arrived and left during the day, but only those who came and departed during the night.
