WORCESTER, January 9.

Last week was committed to close custody, one Collin M'Lellan, a Highlander, for counterfeiting & forging bills, in imitation of the small bills of credit of this State, of the denomination of Five Shillings and Two Shillings & Six Pence---The villain made use of some of the types in the Printers Office,--got into the Office in the night, and on the Sabbath, during public Worship : As the Printers have not Types and Flowers, like those by which, the true bills were made, so the counterfeits are very different. insomuch that none but a finished villain would have the affrontery to pass them
