Contract Let For Press Building

P. A. Murray, local contractor, has been awarded the contract for the new home of the Imperial Valley Press, which will be built on State street, just west of Sixth street.

Construction will start immediately and it is hoped to have the building ready for occupancy before the approach of summer weather.

The building will be one story high, of reinforced concrete construction and will be equipped with an apparatus assuring coolness in summer and warmth in winter. An architect's drawing of the building indicates it will be an attractive addition to El Centro's business section.
