State Representative
John F. Pansler, a retired assistant chief of Akron Fire Department, is seeking his party's nomination for State Representative in the May 3 Primary Election. He is a Republican.
Mr. Pansler served in the Akron Fire Department for more than 25 years. He has been a member of Local 330, International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO, for a quarter of a century.
Married, the candidate lives at 72 North Pershing avenue. He is the father of one child.
Mr. Pansler is a member of Fairlawn Community Church. He also is a Mason, and he is a member of Tadmor Temple and Sons of Herman. He has not held political office before.
