We publish this morning copious accounts of the recent Abolition excitement in Boston and Utica. Such decisive indications of public sentiment at the North cannot be highly gratifying and satisfactory to the South, while it is to be hoped that they will be effectual in putting down the Incendiaries, preserving the public tranquility, restoring fraternal feelings between the different sections of the Union, and perpetuating the Union itself.
The New York Mercantile Advertiser states that Thompson, the foreign Incendiary, sailed from that port for Liverpool, in the ship Huron, a few days ago. He has made a fortunate escape, we suspect. The country was getting too hot for him, since the recent exposure of his villainous character. Garrison had better follow him.
