From the Gazette de la Cour,

PARIS, JULY

We are really at a loss to account for the indirect insults, daily offered to our august sovereign, by the Prussian troops; we are informed upon good authority, that a few days ago, one of the Spanish infantas, charged with a mission extraordinary from his catholic majesty the king of Spain, presented himself at the gate of the castle of the Thuilleries, and was most insolently refused admittance, by the Prussian commanding officer of the guard; his royal highness was obliged to submit to the degrading necessity of repairing to the quarters of the Prussian commander of the sixth arrondissement, in which our beloved king resides. to solicit the permission of seeing his august relation, which was not granted to him but with some difficulty. These things cannot be dwelt on with perfect ease.
