LONDON,

May 21. A Letter from Paris, dated May 10, says, "It is no longer a Secret, that the King has been informed by his Catholic Majesty of his Reasons for taking the late Steps against the Jesuits. The Marquis d'Ossun, our Minister at the Court of Spain, has written a Letter, which has been read before the King's Council, and confirms the Report of his Catholic Majesty's having escaped Assassination, by retiring from Madrid, on Account of the Disturbances, three Days before the hellish project was to have taken place."
