COMMUNICATION.

The British faction in the several parts of the United States, alledge that the people are not competent to judge on the Treaty, and that it requires a long and deliberate investigation.

But it may be said of this destructive instrument, as the Poet speaks of "Vice."

"Vice is a monster of such hateful mien, As to be hated, needs but to be seen."

Thus it is with the Treaty.—It is so glaringly an imposition upon the United States—so completely calculated to bring this nation again under the influence of the British nation, that it need only be read, and it will be hated. It does not require more time to reprobate it, than to condemn Vice.
