Jim Vagnini, Secretary-Treasurer, 1508 19th St., will represent Local 202, American Federation of Musicians (AFL-CIO), at the Sixth - Second Annual Convention of the musicians' union at Seattle, Wash., it was announced today.

The convention opens today.

Delegates will hear reports by their president, Herman D. Kenin, secretary, Stanley Ballard and treasurer, George V. Clancy, and will transact union business, including legislation and election of officers. The Convention, which has been held every year since 1896 (with the exception of two wartime years), is the supreme governing body of the union.

Nearly 1,300 delegates will attend, representing some 700 Locals and the 265,237 professional musicians of the United States and Canada.
