Twichell, Sorlie
Will Not Quarrel
About the Weather

L. L. Twichell and Governor A. G. Sorlie have agreed not to quarrel about the weather.

Meeting in the offices of the state industrial commission, the pair exchanged smiles and simultaneously opened a conversation with the remark, "It certainly is a beautiful day."

Twichell's laughing remark, "I guess we can't quarrel about that. There is one thing we can agree on," was met with an equally good humored reply of "I don't think we need to quarrel about anything."

But the conversation didn't last long. Both the chief executive and the leader of the hostile Independent majority in the house at the last session appeared to have fresh in their minds the bitter clashes which marked their conferences during the last regular legislative session.
