NORTH DAKOTA
IN PROGRAM
National Effort Toward Re-forestation Planned
Fargo, N. D., May 5.—North Dakota will be included in plans for a nation-wide program of reforestration which is being formulated this spring and according to announcements by the National Farm Forestry Extension Committee proposed to stress the advantages of such practical projects as the farm wood lot. Some 150,000,000 acres, or one-third of the total forest area of the country is on farms, made this week by H. A. Reynolds secretary of the Massachusetts Forestry association, and chairman of the national committee, the maintenance of farm wood lots is one aspect of a good national policy of forestry.

Resolved to bring home to America the need for action on the problem of reforestration. the national committee, which appointed Dr. E. S.
