The Kodiak National Guard Armory Board met Wednesday, September 16 at the Guard Armory.
The five man board consists of Jerry Valen, local company commander, who is president of the Board; Gene Sundberg, secretary-treasurer; Frank Pagano, Leon Johnson and Pete Devean, members.
Various committees were organized and a working team established.
Any private or civic organizations that wish to utilize the Kodiak Armory may do so by writing or contacting the Kodiak National Guard Armory Board.
Guard meetings will be held on Wednesday evenings, the first beginning on September 30. The Board would appreciate the submitting of requests for use of the armory as soon as possible so that a calendar for the drill year may be drawn up.
The next Board meeting will be held Monday, September 21 at 8 p.m.
Major Crawford, Battle Group Commander, and Lt. Goodman were in attendance at the meeting.
