WAY OUT WEST THANKS THOSE WHO ASSISTED
To the Smoki and to the women who took part in the Smoki house pageant, and to the bull-fighters and clowns and emigrants and all the rest of the show people, and to the less prominent but even harder workers who remained unseen; to the people of Prescott and elsewhere who made up the "audience," the Way Out West management wishes to express its deep gratitude.
It was a great show, an immense success, everybody tells us that. But the credit belongs to those who worked and gave their time and means to it. Way Out West day afforded Prescott an opportunity to play. And those who worked the hardest enjoyed it the most among the participants.
The affairs of the 1922 Way Out West remain to be closed out. Those having bills against the management should present them to L. C. Derrick. treasurer, and they will be audited and paid. Some more revenue is yet to come in; this should be carefully and promptly handled. Photographs of the show are being sold by Tom Bate and purchasers deserve to know that 40 per cent of the purchase price goes to the Way Out West. so that in buying pictures, they are swelling the funds.
Way Out West will be maintained and next year it will be amplified and improved. Things seen this year that ought not to have been, will be corrected next year, so that our patrons may rest assured that from year to year the Way Out West will be better and of deeper and broader significance.
Again the Way Out West thanks you workers and you patrons.
