Oct. 12, 1896
Dr. Lewers was down from Paonia last Tuesday.
R. W. Lewis has moved his family to town.
J. J. Rose is finishing up his house.
R. Cooperrider is putting an addition to his residence.
The contractors are laying brick on the new Hotchkiss block.
Mr. Grier is plastering and fixing up the Grier house.
George Webb is building a new residence on his ranch two miles east of Hotchkiss.
Geo. H. Douglass is building a new residence on Bridge street.
Geo. H. Duke is getting the material on the ground for a 9 room residence on the bluff north of town.
R. M. Whitelock is building a neat residence on Orchard street.
J. W. Galliher returned from Denver last Tuesday where he had been buying material for the new Hotchkiss block.
