Full Text

COMMUNICATIONS.

'Spirit of the Times,' in his article of Saturday last, admits his incompetency to defend the Administration; but, nevertheless, attempts to do so. Yesterday morning, he said it was the duty of all men to write so as to be understood 'even by the ladies.' In the performance of this duty he has, in my poor opinion, signally failed. I should not, however, have troubled you on the subject, had it not been for his ungallant insinuation against female politicians, who, perhaps, are as well versed in the King's English as many of the other sex.
