MODISH MITZI
Mitzi Stays Home Shopping
BY JAY V. JAY
"You'll have to do your shopping alone, Polly," says Mitzi. "for the doctor thinks I am going to have fallen arches or something." While this keeps Mitzi from shopping actively. it does not keep her from planning a new ensemble costume which will be in three or four parts.
Daily Novelette
There's the skirt of flannel, broadcloth or tweed. If she chose the broadcloth, she might also choose a satin blouse. Or if she chose it of tweed she might select a sweater to wear with it. The local advertisements make shopping at home simple.
"No. Adelaide," said Mitzi, "you couldn't get me to stir from the house. I shan't be able to shop for a thing. Though I had thought of telephoning for a V neck sweater in a diagonal design. It would make such a stunning addition to the ensemble I am getting together."
As Dad can see. Mitzi hasn't really been able to go out of the house. It's serious with all this gift shopping to do. But there's no use worrying. He'll settle it somehow. He has a good mind to make all his Christmas presents checks. Mitzi is cheered at the thought-it's practically put her on her feet again.
