Would Like to Know Why.
Some of the tax-payers of Eastport
would like to know why the County
Commissioners continue to keep a bridge
keeper for Back creek bridge with the
draw locked and the bridge barred and
utterly unfit for public use? They con-
sider this a useless expense on the coun-
ty for which the tax-payers receive no
benefit. We have been requested by
these people to call the commissioners
attention to this matter, and request
that this useless expenditure be discon-
tinued. A delegation it is said will go
before the Board of Commissioners at
their next meeting and make this re-
quest.
