Visiting His Son.

Mr. S. Z. Poli, of the Wonderland theater on Church street, received the greatest surprise of his life yesterday morning when a well preserved gentleman rang his door bell at 112 Davenport avenue. Standing on the doorsteps was his father, Attavio Poli, whom his son has not seen in fifteen years, The meeting between father and the two sons, S. Z and G. A. Poli, was a most affectionate one. The father, who is sixty-eight years old, left home four weeks ago, spent some time in Berlin, Rome, Paris and Havre, and arrived in New York Sunday morning. He will remain with his sons in this city for about four months.
