At the morning service on last Sunday, Rev. Foggie preached on, "Our Stronghold." This sermon was intended to give spiritual assistance to the heavy hearted. A splendid program was presented by a group of very young people from the Cambridge Community Center under the leadership of Mrs. Oscar Cheeks and Mrs. Bridgman. There was a large attendance at both services. "Beauty as an Aid to Worship," will be the topic discussed at the Varick Christian Endeavor on next Sunday at 6:30 Miss Helen Danc will be the speaker.
Next Sunday morning is the regular Communion service. In the evening, the Junior Choir will give a "Communion Sing."
Thursday, November 9. from 6 to 9 p.m., the Willing Workers of this church will serve a Variety Supper. Come and enjoy a good meal at Rush. There are many interesting programs being planned by the various organizations. The pastor and members of Rush cordially invite you to come in and worship with them at any time you wish.
