'Tis not questioned but the Adriatic Sea will be soon scoured of Pyrates, and the Venetian Trade raised to the highest Pitch, by the extraordinary Encouragement and Privileges newly granted by that Republic.

The Ships to be built for the Purposes above-mentioned are to be 60 Feet in the Keel; and the Undertakers of them are to be furnished with 200 Pieces of Oak, worth Half a Ducat each, and with 20 Workmen from the Arsenal for Three Months running, at the Expence of the Public.

Besides, they may be provided with Soldiers and Cannon upon very easy Terms, and no Duty to be paid for Goods going in or coming out.
