Cincinnati, Ohio, March 5.

Another Murder.—On Friday night last, a man of the name of Birdsell was committed to the jail of this county for the murder of his wife. We have not been able to obtain the exact particulars, but learn that in a fit of jealousy he knocked her down with an axe and severed her head from her body. She was the mother of several children, in whose presence the deed was perpetrated. He made no attempt to escape. His trial will take place before the Supreme Court in May next.
