Five Youths Held in Car Theft Case

Five juvenile boys from Tujunga were suspected of stealing five automobiles in a recent flier into the realms of crime and Monday were held in the Imperial county jail for questioning about their activities.

Two of the boys were 14 years of age and two were 15 years of age.

They stole automobiles in Tujunga, Santa Ana, Oceanside, San Diego, and El Centro.

They were arrested in Wellton, Ariz. and returned to California.

The gas was all gone from one of the purloined cars when the boys reached El Centro. They enjoyed a swim in the plunge, went to the high school, helped themselves to gasoline, and went back for another swim before heading eastward.
