Bold Burglary.

The House of M. T. Collins Completely Ransacked.

Last night while Mr. M. T. Collins who lives on Alameda street, was attending to his duties as the judge of a primary election and his family was at the circus, his house was entered by burglars. An entrance was effected through a back window, and there being no one at home the robbers had a good opportunity to ply their calling. They secured $500 in gold coin, about the same amount in jewelry and nearly a hundred dollars worth of household property, making a $1100 burglary in all. This is unfortunate for Mr. Collins, and it is to be hoped that the thieves will be apprehended and his property recovered.
