Airplane News

Monday Pilot Sig Wien took a load of freight to the Kougarok. Graham Lammers was a round trip passenger from Fox Bar to Noxapaga.

Tuesday, Pilot Wien made the trip from Taylor to Noxapaga with "Cappy Kapolowitz and brought Mrs. Harry Nelson and Jack Whaley to Nome. James Barnett and Peter Covel were taken from Nome to Fox Bar.

A trip was also made by Pilot Wien to Council, Tuesday, to pick up Albert Grimes who was brought to Nome.

Today. Pilot Sig Wien flew Ed. Nolte and Mr. Litch to Noxapaga and returned with James Barnett.

Yesterday, Pilot Jack Jefford left Nome in the "Duck" on his Office of Indian Affairs trip with Messrs. Hirst, McGinty and Zimmerman and one other passenger. Pilot Jefford is expected to be out of Nome for at least three days.

Tuesday, Pilot-manager Hans Mirow returned from Fairbanks with Martin Anderson and Keith Roberts. Mort Sullivan was picked up at Bluff and flown into Nome.

Today, Pilot Mirow took off at 9 a.m. for Council, Teller, Taylor Budd Creek and Tin City, with freight and mail. Keith Roberts was a passenger to Taylor. The planes expected to return to Nome with Harry Dobson from Budd creek, and Mr. Tjernagel of the same vicinity. Upon the planes return here. it is scheduled for calls for a trip to Golovin and Council with freight for the Glass Dredging Co.

The PAA Electra arrived today with mail and express and departed again with the following outgoing passengers and U. S. Mail: Louis Bassett, Frank Day. Miss Emily Morgan, A. O. Brown. Joe McArthur. Robert E. Lyle. Mort Sullivan, S. W. Norman. There were 75 lbs of mail.
