AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE.

New Bern, (North Carolina) September 27. At a court of Vice Admiralty held this week, before the Hon. William Brimage Esq., was condemned a small schooner boat, seized by Mr. John Malcolm, late tide surveyor of New Port, in Rhode Island, but now of the port of Currituck in this province. The poor Skipper who has now lost his all, was loading a few shingles on board her, which he thought he had a right to carry from one port to another without a permit, till Mr. Malcolm convinced him he was breaking the acts of trade, to the egregious damage of the fair trader.
