Former Beatrice Resident Injured At Kansas City
Mrs. John Forbes received word today from Miss Myrtle Hare, one of the city teachers who is spending her vacation at the home of her father, S. S. Hare, in Kansas City, stating that Mr. Hare recently fell down stairs from the second story to the landing on the first floor of his home, sustaining a broken limb. It is feared that the femur bone is dislocated. Mr. Hare who is a former Beatrice resident, is eighty-four years of age, is a Civil war veteran and a former member of Rawlins post, G. A. R.
