Trip To Book Land On Friday, May 12
Children of Rockville elementary school will present an original play May 12, in the Richard Montgomery High school auditorium at 8 o'clock.
Several little school children are taking a trip to "Book Land" so that Johnny, who won't read, will learn how exciting and interesting the children of this imaginary land really are. Here they meet many favorite book friends. Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Hansel and Gretel are there to entertain the children. George Washington and his friends are there as characters from the book of "The Life of Washington". Of course, you will meet most of the folks from Mother Goose. Old familiar characters from "Book of Songs" will also be there to entertain the children.
The children see their book pals dance and hear them sing. Won't you join the group of school children and go with them on their trip to Book Land. If you go, you will be highly entertained as well as help the Rockville Public Library buy children's books.
