COMMENDATION GIVEN TO CIVILIAN BY ARMY CHIEF

WASHINGTON, D. C.--General Omar N. Bradley, Chief of Staff, U. S. Army, presented the Commendation for Meritorious Civilian Service on behalf of the Department of the Army to Jas. Alexander, this week in the office of the Chief of Staff.

"As Supervisor of the Mail Unit, Coordination and Records Section, Office, Chief of Staff, United States Army, from October 1941 to June 1943. James Alexander distinguished himself by exemplary service. Performing his assigned duties in a superior manner, he set a record of meritorious achievement which was an inspiration to others."
