The annual Womens Club lighting contest was held Tuesday evening, Dec. 22 with the following results: first, Mrs. J. P. Bzoski, second, Mrs. R. J. Lind and third, Mrs. T. R. Powers Sr. Judges were Mrs. David Fuller, Mrs. Richard J. Endicott and Mrs. L. S. Fuller Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foltz left Wednesday to spend Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Lunn Foltz and family in Sidney. Accompanying them were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foltz of Roberts.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hine of Garden Valley, Ida. arrived Sunday to spend the holidays with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Hine and Betsy.
The school program presented Monday evening consisted of Christmas Stockings by the First Grade; Christmas Songs and There'll Always Be a Reindeer by the Second Grade; Teaching Willie, with choral readings by the Third and Fourth Grades; Too Much Mistletoe by the seventh and eighth grades and The Christmas Story by the fifth and sixth. Santa visited the children and bags of Christmas candy were given to all the children, pre-school through the eighth grade.
Mr. and Mrs. John Jones of Tensleep, Wyo. arrived Wednesday evening to spend Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Aarstad.
Leaving Wednesday to visit their daughter, Miss Faye LaForge in San Francisco, Calif. for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Francis LaForge and Mary Beth.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gross and family of Reed Point spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mispaugh. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gross, Mrs. Kenneth Jones and Jr. left Thursday to spend Christmas with Mrs. Lee Jones in Belfrey. They returned home Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Aarstad and family spent Christmas in Billings with Mr and Mrs. Ralph Dodge and family.
School vacation began Dec. 23 and will resume Jan. 4.
Spending Christmas in Forsyth with Mr and Mrs. Earl Gross and family were Mr. and Mrs Frank Gross.
