ALEXANDRIA. FRIDAY, APRIL 19.

Upper Marlborough, Prince George's County. April 2.

At a large and respectable meeting of Federal Republican Citizens, convened at the court-house, for the purpose of recommending suitable persons to be supported at the respective elections to be made next fall, William Hebb was called to the Chair, and George Semmes appointed Secretary--whereupon It was unanimously Resolved, That Major Edward I. Calvert and Doctor William Marshall be recommended to the voters of Prince George's County, for their support, as electors of the senate: John C. Herbert, as representative in congress; and, Francis M Hall, Francis T. Somervell, Henry A. Callis and George Semmes, as delegates to the general assembly.
