STATE AUDITORS BEGIN WORK HERE
COMPLETE AUDITS OF COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND BRIDGE DISTRICT
W. B. Johnson and C. M. Howell, members of the State Auditing Department, are today making preparations for a complete audit of the books of Monroe county and were busy this morning getting things in shape to start the work.
Mr. Johnson has just completed making an audit of the accounts of the Overseas Road and Toll Bridge District, at the completion of which he and Mr. Howell audited the books of the schools of Monroe county, and today are ready to begin the work on the county records, which, it is said, will probably be quite lengthy.
