Full Text

The chair of the Whig State Executive Committee have issued a circular urging all to whom it is addressed to animate and stir up the Whigs with Democrats, obtain and circulate documents, &c. Now this is all right to use all fair and honorable means to procure the candidate of their choice. We mention this to Democrats to stimulate them to action. They will not be satisfied with the majority we are sure to poll in November. Let every Democrat impart good cause to others, to be energetic, organize so completely that no vote will be lost. Be vigilant and our signal triumph will—Davenport Banner.
