Full Text
NORFOLK, June 7.
From a Correspondent.
A paragraph appearing in some Northern paper a few weeks ago, setting forth that his most Catholic Majesty's Plenipotentiary to the United States, had applied to Mr. Liston, for a passage with him on board his Majesty's ship—and was refused—we can without fear of being contradicted assure the public that no such application ever was made either directly, or indirectly, of course such paragraph is as false as illiberal; but if his well informed author should retain any doubts concerning the truth of his assertion he may give himself the trouble of further inquiries of Mr. Liston himself.
