Extract of a Letter from one of the Leeward Islands, by one of the latest Vessels, and may be depended upon for Truth.

We suffer very much here thro' the Laziness of our Men of War, Provisions and Lumber being at an extravagant Price, and not a Biscuit to be had for the Shipping. -There is great Feasting on Shore, but nothing done at Sea, and the French Privateers are grown so impudent, that they daily take our Vessels off of our Island, in Sight of our Navy, and carry them away without Molestation.
