Stalin Replaced As Party Head, Reports Reveal

LONDON - The London Daily Graphic said Monday in an uncredited dispatch that Georgi Malenkov, Soviet Communist party personnel chief, has replaced Premier Stalin as leader of the Communist party.

Malenkov for some time has been reported as a possible successor to Stalin.

The same dispatch, not substantiated otherwise, said that the Communist Politburo had been increased in number to include Marshal Nikolao Bulganin, minister of the Soviet Armed Forces, and chairman of the Supreme Soviet Schwenick.
