MRS. HICKS-LORD'S TOLEDO PROPERTY,

New York Sun Special.

TOLEDO, Jan. 12,-Thomas Lord, Jr., visited Toledo during the week to examine into the condition of Mrs. Hicks' affairs in this city. Lang & Lenderson, with Mr. Lord, spent two days in investigating the court records, when they reported everything in the best possible shape. The titles are clear and unencumbered to a property which, if forced upon the market, would readily sell for $250,000 or $300,000. Moor & Macomber, real estate dealers and business agents of Mrs. Hicks, make a similar statement, together with the assurance that Mrs. Hicks, although importuned to sell certain sections of land, has steadily refused to do so.
