Joseph O. Goodwin PTA To Sponsor Military Whist In School Today

The Joseph O. Goodwin PTA will sponsor a military whist this evening at 8 o'clock in the school.

The party will be run by Raymond Burton of Wethersfield.

Four prizes will be awarded for the high table, and four for the low table.

The committee in charge of the affair is composed of Mrs. Harold S. Billins, chairman; Mrs. John Carson and Mrs. R. S. Curtis.

The hot lunch program is now underway, serving 200 children daily, with the following standing committee: Mrs Joseph Urbansky, chairman: Mrs. Herbert Whitaker, purchasing agent: Edward J. Summerton, accountant; and Mrs. Henry Cummings and Mrs. Forest, operating staff. Persons wishing to serve on the committee are requested to contact Mrs. Urbansky.
