The Arizona State Democrat, Former State Senator Andrew Bettwy's new daily afternoon paper, made its appearance Wednesday afternoon, brim-full of local, state and world-wide news, up-to-date in every respect, printed in one of the most modern plants in the State. With The Democrat, came its Spanish brother, "El Democrata de la Costa Occidental." Both youngsters received a warm welcome in ambos Nogales, the gateway to the wonderful West Coast of Mexico. Andrew Bettwy is publisher and Earl C. Brownlee is editor and manager of the new papers which are published by the State Democrat Publishing Co., located at 233 Morley Avenue, Nogales, Arizona.
