Baptist Class Gives
Thanks for Peace

A SOCIAL DINNER meeting of a Sunday school class turned into an impromptu service of Thanksgiving last evening, at the word that the war is over.

Members of Gilbert Memorial Baptist Whosoever Class, who were rained out of their planned picnic, gathered for their supper in the church parlors instead. The good news sent them upstairs into the church, where members conducted a prayer and song service joined by utter strangers, who noting the church doors open, came in to add their thanks in prayer.
