WHAT IS A TRUMP.
We are making a very close study of Win-Winslow-Way with its wonderful system of card analysis and are asking a question which may seem simple but want you to tell us how many Trump Tricks are turned in the average hand. We are submitting a deal that is ideal for illustrating the Rule of 12, (R 12). From Oklahoma.

You are asking a question that very few players of the Expert class can answer. The term Trump is applied to an artificial value given a named suit, placing it above all others in rank. The Winslow System recognizes the Natural value of all suits and is based on the count of the Naturals in the combined hands. Therefore the Naturals of the Trump Suit are worth no more than the Naturals of any other suit in basic value. By this reasoning the average tricks gained by trumps is two.
The Rule of 12 is well exemplified in this deal.
